In the year of 2016 the volume of grain cargo shipping under the contracts of North-Western Shipping Company with subsequent transfer to marine vessels (lightering) equaled to 1.12 million tons which exceeded the corresponding result in 2015 by 35%.
The total volume of the cargo carried by V.F. Tanker during the navigation period of the year 2016 — from April till November — has made 2.9 mln ton. Of them 2.5 mln ton (21% growth as compared to the 2015 figure for the same period) were delivered by the inland waterways of the Russian Unified Deep Water System.
JSC «Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg» is glad to announce the launch of container services. The portfolio of SPSP’s services is now strengthened by handling/processing/storage of containerized cargoes, as well as their receipt/shipment from/by sea-, river-, railway- and road transportation vehicles.
Under equipment modernization programme JSC «Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg» has purchased four fork-lift trucks (FLTs) KALMAR DCG 100-6. The vehicles were delivered from Sweden.

On November 27 the Volga Shipping Company completed 2016 cargo navigation. According to recent reports the company vessels transported 5.2 mln tons of cargo, by 7% less than the previous year.
For 9 months of 2016 the Multipurpose Reloading Complex in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) has invested 1,84 mln roubles in realization of its social programme, which is twice as much as during the same period of last year.
From January to September 2016 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” spent 976,2 million rubles on its development program. This was twice as much as in the same period last year.
During nine months of 2016 the volume of shipments undertaken by the vessels of North-Western Shipping Company (NWSC) equaled to 4,26 million tons, which is 16,5% higher than the volume during the corresponding period last year.
Within the period of January-September 2016 JSC Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg allocated 4.7 million Roubles to support the veterans of our company – 9.3% more than within the same period of the last year.
